Rocket 95.1 turned 20, so we are declaring 2020 the YEAR OF ROCK brought to you by our friends at Creating Beautiful Days!  We’re giving away tickets to ALL THE HOTTEST ROCK SHOWS in our area.  Some shows have been postponed, we will update the new show dates as soon as we know.  Check out the list of shows below:

Kegs N Eggs

The 7th annual Kegs N Eggs is coming to Below the Radar on Saturday, March 14th!  The St. Patrick’s Day party starts at 6am, because “you can’t drink all day, if you don’t start in the morning!”  Enjoy a $10 Buffet, $10 Mimosa Pitchers, $3 Draft Yuengling, $3 House Brewed Green Sour, $3 House Brewed Green Blonde Ale, $2 Bud Light, and $2 Green Beer.  Get yourself prizes from the Rocket STASH and have fun until the parade starts at 11am.  Have a fun morning with Shea Fox and the Rocket Crew on St. Patrick’s Day with the 7th annual Kegs N Eggs!

Rocket Turns 20!

The Rocket crew is celebrating 20 years of being Your Rock Station and we want you to “Go Rock Yourself” with tickets to some killer concerts!  All day, on Friday, February 14th we’re giving you our birthday presents.  It’s our way to say thank you for listening for the past 20 years.  Since we’re turning 20 years old, we thought it would be nice to give away 20 prizes!  Concert tickets to Tesla, ZZ Top, The Black Crowes, Skillet, Volbeat, and Trevor Noah.  We also have tickets to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center and passes to upcoming Havoc Games.  Thanks for Rocking with us for the past 20 years!  -The Rocket Staff – Jimbo, Casio, Marsha, Shea Fox and Jack Spade

Comedy for Kids! A Toy Drive for the Kids of the Downtown Rescue Mission

Donate a new, unwrapped toy, for the kids at the Downtown Rescue Mission, we will give you the gift of laughter with a ticket to our comedy show featuring our very own, Casio (Matt Mitchell) on December 19th, at Stand-Up Live.

3rd annual Paint the Town Pink

Rocket 95.1 has teamed up with the Huntsville Marriott at the Space and Rocket Center for our 3rd annual Paint the Town Pink on October 25th!  October is breast cancer awareness month and we want to raise money for the American Cancer Society with our cool FIGHT shirts from our friends at

Pick up your fight against breast cancer shirt, with a $10 donation, at our studio, 1555 The Boardwalk, Suite 1, Huntsville, AL 35816.  Then on Friday, October 25th, we encourage you to Paint the Town Pink by wearing your limited-edition shirt to our Paint the Town Pink Party at the Huntsville Marriott from 6pm to 8pm!

All proceeds from the shirt donations go to the American Cancer Society.  Shirts will be available at the station or anywhere Rocket 95.1 is on location.

Thank you to everyone that donated money and helped Paint the Town Pink last year in 2018!  With your donations, we raised $3,600 for the American Cancer Society and their fight against cancer.

Food Truck 500

Listen to the Rocket crew to get qualified to play for $500 at the food truck rally, this Friday, October 18th!

We’re calling it the Rocket 95.1 Food Truck 500!  Get qualified, then come out to the food truck rally next Friday for your chance to win.  This month, hang out on Church Street and eat some of the Valley’s best Food Truck Food.

If you don’t get qualified on the air, don’t worry, we will have one spot left at the rally.  Register at the Rocket 95.1 tent from 5pm to 6:30pm and we will draw one last name to get you in on a chance at winning $500.

At 7pm, we’ll start a backwards drawing of all the qualifiers until we get to one listener that will go for the money.
